Lion’s Leap welcomes visionary entrepreneurs based in West or East Africa who are building scalable, high-impact ventures. We prioritize women-led businesses addressing systemic funding gaps, but also encourage men-led startups with innovative solutions and strong growth potential to apply.

  • Location: Startups based in West/East Africa or directly benefiting these regions.
  • Stage: Early-stage (6+ months operational) or pilot-phase businesses.
  • Women-led ventures prioritized; men-led startups with strong social impact considered
  • Tech, social impact, health, education, green energy, and more.

Application Process

4 Simple Steps to Funding

  • Submit: Complete the 10-point online form + upload documents (business plan, proof of registration).
  • Review: Expert panel evaluates scalability, impact, and financial viability.
  • Pitch: Shortlisted founders present live to global investors in virtual sessions.
  • Fund: Receive commitments within 72 hours of your pitch.

  • Proof of business registration (if applicable).
